Who we are

A blooming lotus rises from the hardest ground

“Khilta Kamal” means a blooming lotus — a flower that rises out of the mud. To pluck it, you must step into the mud; and once plucked, it is laid at God's feet. Our daughters are like that lotus — so many grow up in harsh surroundings. Why not lift them into a better world, so their futures can bloom? That simple belief gave us our name.

Khilta Kamal began in 2015 in Sector 15A, Noida, inspired by Smt. Savita Bhatia. For the first year it was just the two of us. Our very first student was Shivani — whose mother cooked in Savita ji's home — and we started by teaching her computers; soon Manisha, Annu, Nidhi and Kalpana joined. In 2016 we formally registered as Khilta Kamal NGO, independent of any political party. Today we support underprivileged girls in every way, including those who long to study but cannot afford to, widowed and abandoned women, and elders troubled in their own homes — and we will soon open an Old Age Home, followed by an orphanage. All of this is possible only through your support and blessings. Thank you.

What we do

Four promises we keep

Focused programs, real outcomes — for the people who need them most.

Education & Skills

Educate a Girl

We keep girls in classrooms — covering fees, books and uniforms — and run computer & skill courses so they can stand on their own feet.

Healthcare

Heal & Care

When a child or family we support falls ill, we step in — arranging medicines, treatment and hospital care so illness never ends a future.

Support this
Women Empowerment

Stand with Widows

We help widowed women rebuild — with livelihood support, counselling and a community that treats them as family, not a burden.

Support this
Elder Care

Honour our Elders

For elderly parents left alone or abandoned, we provide food, medical care, and companionship — so their last years are lived with dignity.
